On June 29, 2025, Entre Hermanos made history with style, rhythm, and unstoppable pride! Our participation in the Seattle Pride Parade was more than just a march. It was a movement. A moment. A declaration. With 200 participants, the maximum allowed per organization by Seattle Pride, our contingent became the largest Latine presence in Seattle Pride’s history; a powerful reminder that our stories, flags, languages, and identities belong at the heart of the LGBTQ+ movement.
El 29 de junio de 2025, Entre Hermanos hizo historia —y lo hicimos con estilo, ritmo y un orgullo imparable. Nuestra participación en el desfile del Seattle Pride fue mucho más que una marcha. Fue un movimiento, un momento y una declaración.
Con 200 participantes (el máximo permitido por Seattle Pride), nuestra participación se convirtió en la presencia latine más grande en la historia del Seattle Pride, un poderoso recordatorio de que nuestras historias, banderas, idiomas e identidades pertenecen al corazón del movimiento LGBTQ+.
Our float transformed the streets of Seattle into a celebration of Latin American Carnavales—a dazzling display of color, music, dance, and festive joy. Dressed in vibrant feathers, costumes, and embellishments, it showcased the beauty of our traditions and the energy that defines Latine culture.
More than a visual spectacle, the float embodied resilience and pride: a heartbeat pulsing with rhythm, celebration, and the message that as Latines, we always rise in the face of adversity.
Nuestro carro alegórico transformó las calles de Seattle en un carnaval latinoamericano —una explosión de color, música, danza y alegría desbordante.
Con plumas vibrantes, trajes brillantes y decoración festiva, celebramos la belleza de nuestras tradiciones y la energía que define a nuestra cultura.
Más allá del espectáculo visual, nuestro carro representó resiliencia y orgullo: un corazón que late con ritmo, celebración y el mensaje de que como comunidad latine, siempre nos levantamos ante la adversidad.
From Mexico to Chile, El Salvador to Argentina, and everywhere in between, every Latin American flag was represented in our march. There was so much power in this display of representation, visibility, and unity! A bold reminder of the strength that comes when we stand together as a collective. Spectators lit up as they recognized their country’s colors waving proudly through the crowd. The energy was electric: Shouts of recognition, waves of joy, and even a few tears from those who saw themselves reflected in a celebration that embraced both queerness and latinidad. This delegation of Latin American flags undoubtedly stirred some of the most emotional reactions of the day, a reminder of how deeply visibility matters.
Desde México hasta Chile, de El Salvador a Argentina, y todos los países de Latinoamérica entre medio, cada bandera latinoamericana estuvo presente en nuestra marcha. Lo más importante fue el poder de la representación, la visibilidad y la unidad —la fuerza que nace cuando nos presentamos con orgullo y caminamos juntes. El público se iluminaba al reconocer los colores de su país ondeando con orgullo. La energía era eléctrica: gritos de emoción, lágrimas de alegría y olas de orgullo al ver una celebración que abrazaba tanto la identidad queer como la cultural. La delegación de banderas latinoamericanas sin duda provocó algunas de las reacciones más emotivas del día, recordándonos cuán profundamente importa la visibilidad.
In a moment that resonated deeply, members of the Mexican Consulate joined our parade contingent, marching arm-in-arm with our community. Their presence sent a powerful message: a public affirmation of respect, recognition, and openness toward LGBTQ+ identities.
This gesture reflects the long-standing relationship of mutual respect and collaboration between the Mexican Consulate in Seattle and Entre Hermanos. Every Wednesday, Entre Hermanos provides free sexual health testing at the Consulate—services open not only to the Mexican community, but to anyone who wishes to access them.
It was a significant and emotional demonstration of solidarity that brought visibility and validation to our queer Latine community—and a hopeful sign of continued progress.
En un gesto profundamente simbólico, miembros del Consulado Mexicano en Seattle marcharon junto a nuestra comunidad. Caminaron codo a codo, reafirmando su compromiso de respeto, reconocimiento y apertura hacia las identidades LGBTQ+.
Este gesto refleja la relación de colaboración y respeto mutuo que por años hemos cultivado con el consulado. Cada miércoles, Entre Hermanos ofrece pruebas gratuitas de salud sexual en sus instalaciones, un servicio disponible no solo para la comunidad mexicana, sino para quien lo necesite.
Su participación fue una demostración significativa de solidaridad, visibilidad y esperanza para nuestra comunidad lgtbq+ latine.
A shining highlight of the day was the participation of many members from Monarcas, our trans women’s support group. Their presence was radiant and fearless. Dressed in colorful outfits and brilliant smiles, they embodied the spirit of our Gala theme:
“Monarcas: We Migrate. We Transform. We Thrive.”
This year, Monarcas brought together the largest group of trans Latine women ever to march in Seattle Pride—a powerful milestone that underscored the importance of visibility. Their presence carried a message of resilience and hope for our entire community: the courage to be seen, the strength to thrive, and the unwavering demand for space, joy, and justice
Uno de los momentos más especiales del día fue la participación de tantas integrantes de Monarcas, nuestro grupo de apoyo para mujeres trans.
Con atuendos coloridos y sonrisas radiantes, marcharon con valentía y orgullo, reflejando el espíritu del tema de nuestra gala:
“Monarcas: Migramos. Nos transformamos. Prosperamos.”
Este año, Monarcas reunió al grupo más grande de mujeres trans latinas en la historia del Seattle Pride —un hito poderoso que subrayó la importancia de la visibilidad trans.
Su presencia fue un mensaje claro de resistencia y esperanza: el coraje de ser vistas, la fuerza para prosperar y la exigencia firme de espacio, alegría y justicia.
We danced. We marched. We waved our flags high. And through it all, we carried a unified message: Latine LGBTQ+ identities are powerful, beautiful, and here to stay.
Entre Hermanos is proud to be the first LGBTQ+ Latine nonprofit organization in Washington State. Born in the midst of the HIV crisis, we not only survived—we grew, and for more than 30 years we have stood strong for our community. Today, and in the years ahead, we continue—and will continue—to work for our community, for the defense of our rights, and for the health, education, well-being, and dignity of our Latine LGBTQ+ family.

Entre Hermanos se enorgullece de ser la primera organización LGBTQ+ latine sin fines de lucro en el estado de Washington. Nacimos en medio de la crisis del VIH y no solo sobrevivimos—crecimos. Por más de 30 años, hemos defendido la salud, dignidad y derechos de nuestra comunidad.
Hoy y en el futuro, seguiremos trabajando con amor y compromiso por nuestra familia LGBTQ+ latine.
