Ryan White & Outreach Services Program Manager

Entre Hermanos is seeking a Ryan White & Outreach Services Program Manager. This Full-time exempt position requires a detail-oriented person passionate about leading LGBTQIA+ health equity programs and initiatives focused on HIV care and other health supports. This position reports to the Deputy Executive Director and works closely with other departments to ensure a continuum of care through collaboration and strong rapport building and communication. Job Description:
The Ryan White & Outreach Services Program Manager leads a team of direct services staff and provides programmatic direction and reporting for the supplemental funding received by Ryan White Part A, as well as new and recurring health projects and services. The role champions HIV prevention services, ensuring care, outreach, and service delivery, such as medical transportation, food vouchers, emergency financial assistance, community outreach, and promotion of the wellness and health activities of clients living with HIV. Additionally, the incumbent supervises a dedicated team of community social workers. This position reports to the Deputy Executive Director.


Salary: $70,000 – $75,000/annual (Commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
▪ Manages the Ryan White and Outreach Services programs through provision of programmatic direction in alignment with grant guidelines and requirements.
▪ Develop reports and programmatic evaluation for the department (in coordination with the Deputy Director overseeing programs, grants, and administration) for timely submission to funding agency
▪ Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, continually evaluates performance of, and executes the disciplinary process as indicated for staff
▪ Participates in and assists with implementation of quality improvement projects designed to improve care or access, such as review or development of policies, procedures, protocols, educational training sessions, non-clinical guidelines, or disease management pathways
▪ Demonstrates leadership skills through effective interpersonal skills, verbal/non-verbal communication, and active participation in departmental or organizational committees/workgroups
▪ Effectively interacts with interdisciplinary members of the team to work toward optimal client experience and outcomes related to HIV prevention and linkages; communicates effectively with colleagues across departments, clients, and/or organizational partners
▪ Supports grant proposals for ongoing program sustainability
▪ Represents the organization in the community, on health partnerships and committees
▪ Demonstrates dedication to life-long learning of self and colleagues through engaging in one’s own professional development
▪ Contributes to organizational culture of safety, compliance, and regulatory readiness

Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Demonstrated commitment to our mission statement, justice, and equality for the LGBTQIA+ community.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent lived experience that demonstrates management capability
• Prior employment in health equity, health access, HIV prevention and care, outreach
• Budgeting and basic knowledge and understanding of excel
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft, Excel and Word.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate predictable “busy times.”
• Lived immigrant experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
• Starting Range: $70,000.00 – 75,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)

Entre Hermanos requires all employees be vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine. Employees are considered vaccinated two weeks after completing primary vaccination with a COVID-19 vaccine, with, if applicable, at least the minimum recommended interval between doses. All new employees must inform Entre Hermanos of their vaccination status within three days of hire date and must be fully vaccinated no later than 45 days after hire date.
