This position will be full time, on site at our location, 1621 S Jackson St, suite 202, Seattle, WA 98144. Salary: $70,000 – $74,000 DOE, before taxes or deductions.

Benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance, vacation, and sick days, and 11 paid holidays per year.

Housing Program Manager Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the work of the different housing programs (HOPWA, Transitional/Emergency Housing, PrEP Housing, BSK – LGBTQ+ and Youth families)
  • Read contracts and be aware of deliverables for each program.
  • Assume the position in case of absence of any missing employees, giving continuity to everyone’s work.
  • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with the team to keep informed about program development.
  • Collect the necessary information to create the reports required by different funders.
  • Assist team members with developing documents needed for client’s intake.
  • Develop program policies for each funder agency.
  • Attend weekly management meetings.
  • Supervise and modify the activities of each team member to meet the short, medium, and long-term objectives.
  • Stay up to date on medical developments related to HIV and changes to AIDS services.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent on experience in the HIV field.
  • Three or more years’ experience assisting with training, leadership development and/or public speaking.
  • Three or more years’ experience providing referrals to medical and support services for People Living with HIV (PLWH) in Washington state.
  • Two or more years of experience working with staff and clients from a variety of racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds including people experiencing homelessness, living with HIV/AIDS or mental illness.
  • Computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity towards issues affecting People Living With HIV/AIDS
  • Motivational interviewing preferred.
  • Ability to understand and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the intersection of racism and poverty.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team or with high degrees of independence.
