DESCRIPTION:(English below)\nTe invitamos para que juntxs celebremos la victoria de la carta de derechos para lxs trabajadorxs del hogar (limpiadorxs de casas\, niñerxs\, cuidadorxs de personas mayores\, jardinerxs y cosinerxs) en nuestra asamblea regional 2018. Todo esto surgió por la necesidad de crear un espacio donde las mujeres y hombres se organicen para luchar por dignificar su trabajo y crear mejores condiciones laborales sin dejar a un lado su propio desafío como padres y madres inmigrantes\, donde puedan trabajar juntxs por y para la justicia social\, ¡¡¡Nos organizamos\, luchamos y ganamos!!! \nLa concejal Teresa Mosqueda campeona de la Carta de derechos nos dará unas poderosas e inspiradoras palabras por el triunfo de todxs lxs trabajadorxs del hogar. \nTalleres:\n1) Conoce tus nuevos derechos como trabajadora del hogar\n2) Asalto y Acoso Sexual/Recursos disponibles\n3) Sanarse a uno mismo es sanar a la comunidad\n​\nCuando: Sábado septiembre 22\, 2018 \nDónde: Iglesia Santa Maria \nHorario: 9:00am-3:00pm \nTendremos Cuidado de niños\, desayuno y almuerzo\, todo esto es GRATIS. \nPlease join us in celebration of the Seattle Bill of Rights for Domestic Workers – house cleaners\, nannies\, homecare workers\, gardeners and cooks- at our 2018 regional assembly. This bill arose from the need to create a space in which domestic workers can organize for more dignified working conditions despite their own challenges as immigrant women and men\, a space in which they can fight together for social justice—We organize\, we fight\, and we win!!! \nCity Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda\, champion of the Bill of Rights\, will give us powerful and inspiring words about this victory for domestic workers. \nWorkshops: 1) Know your new rights as a domestic worker\n2) Assault and Sexual Harassment/Available Resources\n3) Healing oneself heals the whole community \nWhen: Saturday September 22\, 2018 \nWhere: Santa Maria Church \nHours: 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m. \nWe will provide FREE childcare\, breakfast\, and lunch.
