DESCRIPTION:We are offering citizenship classes for applicants that need assistance in preparing for their citizenship exam. We will have interactive activities that students will be participating in.\nWe will also be in small groups and with instructors to practice for the reading\, writing and speaking part of the Naturalization Interview. Moreover\, the classes include preparation for the 100 citizenship questions as well as mock interviews to practice for the naturalization interview.\nThe classes are supporting eligible immigrants and refugees that want to become U.S. citizens. Esto es una oportunidad para las personas en todo el mundo a unir esfuerzos y poner fin a la epidemia\, para mostrar apoyo a las personas viviendo con VIH\, y para conmemorar a todos aquellos que han muerto de enfermedades relacionadas con el VIH-SIDA. \nEn todo el mundo\, 36.9 millones de personas viven con el VIH; de las cuales 21.7 millones de ellas tienen acceso a la terapia antirretrovírica. A pesar de esto\, 1.8 millones de personas contrajeron el virus del VIH en el 2017.

DESCRIPTION:Acompáñanos este Miércoles 17 de Octubre en nuestro Foro Comunitario en donde discutiremos sobre el “Día Nacional Latinx Para la Concientización del SIDA”. \nHora: 6 pm\nLugar: 12 Ave ARTS Building (Pike-Pine Room)\nEvento Gratis\nHabrá rica cena\, pruebas orales de VIH\, inscripción para ORCA LIFT y Mucho más. \nEl Día Nacional Latino para la Concientización del SIDA (NLAAD por sus siglas en inglés) es una campaña nacional de mercadeo social que une a la comunidad Hispana/Latina alrededor del VIH\, la promoción de la prueba del VIH\, la prevención y educación sobre diferentes temas de salud como la hepatitis viral\, enfermedades de transmisión sexual y tuberculosis. \nEl 15 de Octubre de cada año\, NLAAD moviliza a organizaciones comunitarias\, líderes de la comunidad latina\, departamentos de salud y los funcionarios electos para difundir el mensaje de educación del VIH\, llevar a cabo mejoras en las prácticas de salud\, y poner en el centro de atención los rostros latinos detrás de la epidemia. \nEstaremos dando Gratis Pruebas orales de VIH “OraQuick” para hacerse la prueba en tu propia casa. \nTambién SDOT – King Street Station estará ofreciendo tarjetas ORCA LIFT precargadas con $108 para los que quieran obtener este beneficio. \nNational Latinx AIDS Awareness Day
