Drag Lotería at Expedia: Celebrating Culture, Visibility, and Community

In November 2025, Entre Hermanos had the honor of joining Expedia Group for their first-ever Drag Lotería at the Seattle campus—an internal event created for Expedia employees that brought together culture, pride, and community celebration.

En noviembre de 2025, Entre Hermanos tuvo el honor de acompañar a Expedia Group en la celebración de su primera Drag Lotería en el campus de Seattle—un evento interno dirigido al personal de Expedia que reunió cultura, orgullo y comunidad.
The gathering opened with the screening of Somos Entre Hermanos, a short film that reflects not only the work we do, but who we are as an organization. Following the screening, our Executive Director, Edgar Longoria, shared remarks on the importance of visibility, representation, and partnerships that uplift Washington’s Latine LGBTQ+ community.
Drag Lotería offered a joyful and powerful way to honor cultural roots while celebrating artistic expression. Lotería is a cherished tradition across many Latine communities, and bringing it into a drag performance created a space where joy, resistance, and pride came together.

El encuentro comenzó con la proyección de Somos Entre Hermanos, un cortometraje que refleja no solo lo que hacemos, sino quiénes somos como organización. Tras la proyección, nuestro Director Ejecutivo, Edgar Longoria, compartió un mensaje sobre la importancia de la visibilidad, la representación y las alianzas que fortalecen a la comunidad LGBTQ+ Latine del estado de Washington.
Drag Lotería fue una forma poderosa y festiva de honrar nuestras raíces culturales mientras celebramos la expresión artística. La lotería es una tradición profundamente querida en muchas comunidades Latines, y traerla al escenario drag creó un espacio donde la alegría, la resistencia y el orgullo se encontraron.

We were thrilled to welcome two incredible local drag artists—Lady Gugu and Kameron Michelle—whose performances filled the room with art, energy, and unapologetic power.

Events like this remind us that representation matters, and that when organizations open their doors and hearts to our community, we move closer to a world where everyone belongs—fully, proudly, and safely.
