Ginna was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Seattle with her wife seven years ago. She holds a BA and Master's in Public and International Affairs. She currently works with Public Health Seattle & King County as a Policy Analyst. She served as Entre Hermanos Secretary since 2023 and as Board President since 2026.
Pedro Goicochea, MSc, MA, is a public health professional originally from Peru with more than 40 years of experience in HIV research, prevention, and community engagement. He moved to the United States in 2008. He has worked extensively with NIH-funded HIV research networks and institutions, the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies, the Gladstone Institutes, the UC Berkeley Forum for Collaborative HIV Research, the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination and the University of Washington Center for AIDS Research. Pedro holds a bachelor’s degree in social communication, a master’s degree in Health Promotion Sciences from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a master’s degree in Communication Strategies from Universidad de Lima. As a member of the Entre Hermanos Board of Directors, Pedro is excited to bring his deep expertise in research, communication, and community engagement to advance the health and well-being of the Latinx community in Washington State.
Felipe Vera grew up in a small rural town in South Texas and moved to Seattle in 2017 to deepen his commitment to public service. He began his career in higher education, then transitioned into the nonprofit sector and later philanthropy, where he has contributed to global health initiatives focused on TB, HIV, vaccines, and strategic communications. Felipe holds advanced degrees in music business/performance and business administration. He is especially passionate about advancing organizations that reflect the intersections of his own identity and lived experience, and he is committed to building more inclusive, effective systems that serve communities with dignity and purpose.
Melissa Campos-Castañeda was born in Santa Clara, Ca and is the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents. She has been practicing immigration law in the Seattle and Tacoma area since 2007, specifically removal defense, including asylum and detained cases. She currently runs an immigration firm in Federal Way, WA.
Dennis has over 35 years of extensive background in design, training and implementation of HIV education, treatment and research programs. He joined Gilead Sciences in 2013 as an HIV Community Liaison and currently he is an Associate National Account Director covering Northern California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and Georgia.
Prior to joining Gilead, I worked for the University of Washington (UW) years as health educator and trainer serving as Community Relations Manager for HIV research and transitioning into a Health Education Specialist at the UW Madison HIV Clinic, which included the role of training coordinating during the Mozambique HIV crisis. As part of University of Washington he was the WA State Training Manager at the Mountain West AIDS Education & Training Center (MW AETC).
He has extensive nonprofit board experience which includes serving as the Board President of AIDS Housing of Washington prior to becoming Building Changes where he worked in the development of the Lyon Building and the Shirley Bridge Bungalows; and oversaw the transition of Bailey Boushay House over to Virginia Mason. In addition, he also served on the board at Gay City. Most recently, he was a Community Board member of the AIDS Memorial Pathway (AMP).
Dennis is a graduate of George Washington University. He was raised in Puerto Rico where he visits family and friends often. He lives in Seattle with his husband.
